Spotmi is a digital platform for tourist information and discovery that brings together places, businesses, experiences, and events to make exploring El Salvador easier.

Some information about tourism providers comes from the National Tourism Registry (RNT), a public registry administered by CORSATUR.

Spotmi may offer tools such as:

• Search and tourism map.

• Informational listings for businesses and places.

• Information about experiences and events.

• Favorites and trips.

• Planning tools.

• Direct contact with providers.

• Spotmi Business for providers.

• SpotmIA and other assistance tools.

Access to browsing and discovery features may be free of charge. Certain current or future features may be subject to specific conditions.

We are not a public institution:

Spotmi is an independent platform and is not the Ministry of Tourism, CORSATUR, or any other institution of the Government of El Salvador. We cite information from the National Tourism Registry as a public source, but this does not imply that MITUR, CORSATUR, or any other public body endorses, certifies, or administers Spotmi.

We are not the tourism provider:

Listings published on Spotmi correspond to third-party businesses, places, experiences, and tourism providers. Spotmi does not provide the tourism services offered by these providers.

We are not party to transactions:

When you use Spotmi to call, email, visit a provider’s website, or contact them via external services, the commercial relationship occurs directly between you and the provider.

Unless Spotmi expressly states otherwise for a specific feature:

• We are not party to the agreement between user and provider.

• We do not collect the service fee.

• We do not process payments.

• We do not guarantee availability.

• We do not manage service delivery.

• We are not liable for cancellations made by providers.

We strive to keep Spotmi’s information up-to-date and useful, but we cannot guarantee that all published information is accurate, complete, or current at all times.

Information may come from:

• Public registries.

• Official sources.

• Information provided directly by business owners.

• Information submitted by users or contributors, where applicable.

• Public web sources.

When a listing originates from the National Tourism Registry, we preserve the source data without fabricating missing details. For example, if a source provides no price, rating, or exact coordinates, Spotmi will not present them as official facts.

The RNT is a public registry administered by CORSATUR containing records of tourism enterprises and their owners.

Prices, operating hours, availability, photographs, services, and other provider details may change.

Therefore, before traveling or booking a service, we recommend confirming relevant details directly with the provider.

Spotmi does not guarantee that:

• A business is open.

• A service is available.

• A price remains valid.

• An experience will take place on a given date.

• Photographs reflect current conditions.

• A provider maintains listed services.

• The experience received meets user expectations.

In the event of discrepancies between Spotmi and details given directly by the provider, we advise verifying with the latter.

Spotmi may display various channels to contact a provider, including:

• Phone.

• WhatsApp.

• Email.

• Website.

• Social media.

• Other contact methods.

Using these channels may redirect you outside Spotmi to external services. Communication and any subsequent agreement occur directly with the provider.

Do not share unnecessary sensitive information when contacting businesses.

Certain features require an account.

When creating an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing reasonably accurate information.

• Maintaining the security of your credentials.

• Not sharing your account with third parties when doing so could compromise security.

• Notifying us if you detect unauthorized access.

You must not use an account to impersonate others or supply deliberately false information to mislead users or providers.

Account information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Spotmi may allow business representatives to manage listings via Spotmi Business.

By claiming or managing a listing, you declare that you have authorization to represent that business.

The manager of a listing is responsible for information added or edited within manageable fields, including descriptions, photos, hours, pricing, services, contact details, and experiences offered.

Managing a listing does not make Spotmi a representative of the business nor constitute certification of service quality or legality.

Information from official registries may follow different rules and cannot necessarily be altered directly on Spotmi.

If Spotmi allows publishing photos, text, reviews, or comments, you must hold the rights to use and share that content.

You must not post content that:

• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights.

• Is deliberately false or misleading.

• Contains personal data of third parties without consent.

• Is offensive, threatening, or discriminatory.

• Promotes unlawful activities.

• Contains malware or malicious code.

• Impersonates another person or entity.

By submitting content to Spotmi, you grant us permission to use it to display, organize, promote, and operate the platform in line with our Privacy Policy and your intellectual property rights.

Where Spotmi allows reviews or recommendations, these express the personal opinion of the author and not necessarily of Spotmi.

Reviews may not be used to:

• Post intentionally false information.

• Artificially manipulate a business’s reputation.

• Post reviews in exchange for undisclosed incentives.

• Harass or threaten individuals or businesses.

• Expose private third-party information.

Spotmi may moderate, hide, or remove content that violates these terms or conflicts with platform standards.

Spotmi may integrate maps, navigation tools, and other third-party services.

Geographic data and routing may contain errors, be outdated, or not reflect real-world road or venue conditions.

Selecting actions like "Directions" will redirect you to external providers such as Google Maps.

Once you leave Spotmi, the terms and privacy policies of the external service apply.

Spotmi may provide artificial intelligence tools under the SpotmIA name.

These tools aim to help discover places, answer questions, and assist in itinerary planning.

AI-generated responses:

• May contain errors.

• May be incomplete.

• May not reflect recent changes.

• Do not replace information given directly by providers.

• Should not be considered guarantees of availability, pricing, safety, or quality.

Before making important decisions regarding travel, bookings, or schedules, verify details with the primary source.

You may use Spotmi to explore, view, share, and link to content legitimately.

You may not:

• Substantially copy or republish the platform or its content as your own.

• Systematically scrape or extract database records via automated bots or scrapers without authorization.

• Attempt to access restricted areas.

• Interfere with Spotmi’s operation.

• Introduce malicious code.

• Conduct attacks, unauthorized security testing, or actions aimed at disrupting services.

• Use Spotmi for illegal activities.

• Impersonate individuals, businesses, or public bodies.

• Misuse Spotmi data to deceive users or providers.

You may link to and share public Spotmi pages provided you do not present content as your own or claim unauthorized association with Spotmi.

The Spotmi name, visual identity, logos, design, code, interface, features, and assets developed by Spotmi belong to Spotmi or are used under applicable license.

These items may not be copied, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without authorization where applicable law requires.

Data from public sources retains the rights of its respective owners or agencies.

Third-party photos, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Salvadoran law recognizes and protects intellectual property rights.

We work hard to keep Spotmi up and running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or permanent service availability.

We may perform maintenance, updates, feature adjustments, technical fixes, temporary suspensions, or structural modifications.

We may also retire or alter features whenever necessary to operate or improve the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Spotmi is not liable for damages, losses, or inconveniences directly resulting from:

• Inaccurate information from providers or external sources.

• Schedule or availability changes.

• Cancellations of tourism services.

• Provider non-performance.

• Experiences contracted directly with third parties.

• Content submitted by users or businesses.

• Third-party service disruptions or Internet connectivity issues.

This section does not seek to limit rights or liabilities that cannot be lawfully excluded.

We may restrict or suspend an account if reasonable grounds exist to believe that:

• These terms are being violated.

• The account is being used fraudulently.

• Risk is posed to other users or providers.

• An attempt is made to disrupt Spotmi’s operation.

• The platform is being used for illegal purposes.

Where appropriate, we may remove content that breaches these terms.

You may request the deletion of your account.

Account deletion does not necessarily entail the deletion of information that is public, originates from official registries, is required to meet legal obligations, or is necessary to resolve disputes.

Personal data tied to the account will be handled pursuant to our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms of Use as needed to reflect platform changes, new features, operational adjustments, or legal obligations.

When significant updates occur, we will revise the date displayed at the top of this page.

Continued use of Spotmi following published updates signifies acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of El Salvador, without prejudice to consumer protections that apply by law.

In the event of disputes arising from the use of Spotmi, parties will seek a good-faith resolution prior to formal legal proceedings.
